The above mentioned case, which is cited as Andre Johannes Grobler NO, Anneme Grobler NO, Liezl Hattingh NO v Certain Occupiers on the farm Spioenkop, District Grabouw under case no.'s 1802 /2009 and 3339/2009, 35 rural households are facing urgent evictions.

In the case of Watervliet Farm, 7 families are facing evictions from the farm, known as Watervliet. These families have all  been served with eviction notices. The matter was set down for the 4th of December 2008. In the interim we have filed our Notice of Opposition and Answering Affidavits in each application and now await the Applicant's Replying Affidavit, before the 7 cases are set down for argument at the Paarl Magistrates Court. These seven families translates to a total of 37persons, including males, females and children facing evictions.
