Kayan is an admitted attorney of the High Court with LHR’s Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme, previously with the Environmental Rights Programme.
Kayan obtained her LLB at the University of South Africa and is currently pursuing her LLM in International Human Rights.
Kayan joined LHR to assist vulnerable and indigent groups in accessing their rights. She is passionate about gender equality, children’s rights, strategic litigation and community development
