Intro paragraph:
For almost three decades, the Feast of the Clowns has brought communities together through creativity, faith, reflection, dialogue and collective action. In 2026, the Feast returns with a programme that creates space for communities, artists, activists, faith leaders, civil society organisations and the public to come together, engage with the issues shaping our communities, and imagine a more just and inclusive society.

Throughout August, a series of workshops, conversations, creative activities and community engagements will lead towards the main festival day on Saturday, 29 August 2026.
This year’s call, RESET! ORGANISE! RISE! invites us to pause and reflect on where we are, organise around the challenges facing our communities, and rise together with courage, creativity and hope.
From dialogue and learning to art, performance, faith and collective celebration, the Feast of the Clowns is a space where different voices meet and where social justice is not only discussed, but experienced and celebrated.
Explore the full 2026 programme below and join us throughout August, especially on 29 August, as we march, gather, celebrate and reaffirm our commitment to communities where every person belongs, every voice matters and justice remains a shared responsibility.
